This week we are talking about the saying, "Practice Makes Perfect". We read
Practice Makes Perfect for Rotten Ralph. It is a book about two cats that go to a carnival. Percy practices the carnival games before they go while Rotten Ralph takes a nap. When they get to the carnival Percy wins all of the games and give his prizes to their owner, Sarah. Rotten Ralph is jealous and starts cheating at the games. In the end Sarah finds out and makes him return all of the prizes.
We talked about things that we have to practice before we are perfect. We came up with many including tying your shoes, riding a bike, and jumping rope. The students drew pictures of what they are practicing to make perfect.
