Goldilocks and the Three Bears

In Core Knowledge we have started our study on Europe we also cover the "3s" fairy tales with this unit. This week we read Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Here are some of the activities and books we read.

Identified the characters and setting using stamps.

Compared and sorted sizes and sequenced the story events.

Copied new vocabulary words from the pocket chart.


Used flannel pieces to retell the story.

Read the book with a friend.

Acted out the story with puppets and masks.

Ended the day with a porridge taste test!
