Happy Hanukkah

Since today is the first day of Hanukkah we read a few stories and the history of Hanukkah. Our Speech and Language Pathologist is Jewish, so when she came to pick up her group I announced that she is Jewish and will be celebrating a special holiday today. I asked the students to tell me what the name of the holiday was.... someone answered harmonica! I asked what she was going to light today.... someone answered mandolin! I asked what yummy potato food would she be eating tonight... someone answered potato salad! Needless to say we had a good laugh and I reviewed the new vocabulary again!
